News Otaku – Demon Slayer has always been one of the most popular anime series in the otaku community. Whether it’s the memorable characters, the connections between them, or the impressive battles, it always leaves its mark.
To date, this series has grown into four anime seasons and three blockbuster movies. Season 4 of the Demon Slayer anime with the Hashira Training Arc ended with the announcement of the Endless Castle Arc trilogy.
Do you recall this anime? Why not relive its most amazing views? So, without wasting any more time, here are the best moments from season 4 of Demon Slayer.
5. Sanemi and Obanai’s first encounter with the Endless Castle
Sanemi and Obanai stumble upon a ruined hideout while tracking villagers kidnapped by demons.
They spot a demon holding another woman before giving chase through the castle. The dramatic battle between Hashira and the demons is a joy.
Sanemi and Obanai saved the woman, but when they were about to capture the demon, they both fell into the Endless Castle, the nest of none other than the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji.
But the castle made a brief appearance before they were transported back to the forest.
The suspense and build-up, which eventually leads to a surprising shock, make it one of the most memorable moments of season 4.
4. Soba eating contest between Tanjiro and Tomioka
Season 4 of the anime cannot be complete without mentioning this adorable moment of the cheerful Tanjiro and the very reserved Tomoika.
Tanjiro wants Tomioka to join the Hashira training program, which he had previously refused. To convince him, Tanjiro followed him closely, hoping to make him agree.
Finally, Tanjiro proposes a soba eating contest to win Tomioka’s approval. Although Giyu easily wins, he makes Tanjiro eat more so he can ‘defeat’ him.
It is very pleasant to enjoy this harmonious spectacle, knowing what the future will bring to the character.
3. Tanjiro’s training with Gyomei
Tanjiro and Zenitsu continue to train with Gyomei, the strongest fighting President. As expected, the training was difficult, but Tanjiro passed all stages.
The last part of moving a large rock gave him difficulty. When all his efforts fail, he is helped by Genya, who tells him about repetitive motion, an action to maximize concentration. He tried in turn by remembering his loved ones and Rengoku’s words until he was finally able to move it.
In addition to Tanjiro’s strong determination, it is also heartwarming to see the friendship between him and Genya.
2. Gyomei Vs. Muzan
In the anime’s touching ending, the Ubuyahiki mansion is bombed to kill Muzan, but fails. Tamayo then used demonic arts and used herself as bait to capture Muzan so that Gyomei could behead him.
Gyomei Himejima’s appearance amid the fire and rubble is beautifully animated by Ufotable. The flashback scene between him and Ubuyashiki was also well done.
The desperate struggle to hold Muzan until the sunlight flashes is everything you could imagine from the anime and more.
1. Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s sacrifice
In the anticipated climax, Kibutsuji Muzan himself goes to Ubuyashiki, who is bedridden. Fans have been waiting for this confrontation between these two rival clan leaders for a long time. As expected, every frame in this episode, from Ubuyashiki’s family past to Muzan’s emotions, made fans cling tightly to the screen.
Muzan plans to finish him off there, but before he can do that, the mansion catches fire before exploding massively. All the Hashira ran to save the villa but it was too late.
The surprising thing is, no one, not even Muzan, predicted that plan. The amazing animation heightens the scene’s intensity to the extreme. Without a doubt, this Demon Slayer moment will be remembered as one of the best in anime history.
