Garena announced a joint investment with Kadokawa Corporation to produce an anime adaptation of the game Free Fire. For your information, Free Fire is one of Garena’s flagship games which has managed to record several achievements.

The plan is that this animation about Free Fire will be produced by a Japanese animation studio together with Kadokawa Qingyu as Kadokawa’s overseas branch. Meanwhile, Kadokawa Qingyu will act as production manager in the development of the animation.
It is stated that the animation will be broadcast and broadcast throughout the world. Free Fire itself is a battle royale game developed and published globally by Garena.

Previously, Free Fire officially presented the latest new Dragon-themed update patch starting April 17, 2024. In this update, Garena presented various gameplay updates including optimization to provide a more exciting playing experience.
Not only that, in the official statement received, on Saturday (20/4/2024), this Free Fire update patch will also bring a surprise with the presence of the Mechadrake dragon. This character will be present in Battle Royale and Clash Squad battles in the game.
Latest Dragon Themed Update Released on Free Fire, Presents Collaboration with JKT48
As part of this update, Free Fire will also present the Dragon Conqueror event from April 17 to May 6 2024. This event will be available for Battle Royale and Clash Squad modes.
For Battle Royale mode, Free Fire players will be challenged to defeat monsters or bosses on the Bermuda map. If they succeed in defeating them, players will get Mechadrake tokens as well as various prizes such as FF Coins, Active Skill Cards, Portal Go, and level 3 weapons.
Later, if players already have three Mechadrake tokens, they will be able to enter Mechadrake Trial mode on the Bermuda map. If the player succeeds in getting Booyah during the Mechdrake Trial, the player will be able to go straight to the Mechadrake War area to defeat the dragon.
As for Clash Squad mode, Mechadrake will fly in the sky carrying a new airdrop containing Dragon-themed items, such as Dragon Freeze, Dragon Sprinters, EMP Grenade, and Dragonling. To get it, players have to shoot the dragon until the airdrop falls.
Free Fire Introduces New Role System
In the mission against the Mechadrake dragon, players will get special assistance from JKT48. From April 18 to May 6 2024, there is a special mission with JKT48 to bring down the dragon in the Free Fire game.
This mission will provide special JKT48 items, starting from the Voice Pack for 4 JKT48 Members (Adel, Christy, Freya, and Zee), to JKT48 selected bundles.
